Registration information for the summer classes: EDUC 490 Curriculum and Instructional Design, EDED 303 Classroom Management.
Students MUST register with both VATIE and JMU to be properly enrolled in these classes.
Student can begin to complete their applications beginning on April 1, 2026.

EXED 303 Classroom Management (July 23-July 28)
The last day to add this class to receive college credit is 7/24/2026. The last day to drop this course with no penalties is 7/24/2026. Withdrawing from this class after this date until 7/26/2026 will result in a “W” grade on the student's transcript & tuition charges will apply. Withdrawing after 7/26/2026 will result in tuition charges & the student will receive the grade earned from the instructor. To drop a course or withdraw from a course the student MUST email Theresa Jennings ([email protected]) with the request. Failure to follow JMU’s add/drop & withdrawal deadlines will result in tuition charges.
EDUC 490 Curriculum & Instruction Design (July 16-July 21)
The last day to add this class to receive college credit is 7/17/2026. The last day to drop this course with no penalties is 7/17/2026. Withdrawing from this class after this date until 7/19/2026 will result in a “W” grade on the student's transcript & tuition charges will apply. Withdrawing after 7/19/2026 will result in tuition charges & the student will receive the grade earned from the instructor. To drop a course or withdraw from a course the student MUST email Theresa Jennings ([email protected]) with the request. In order to be eligible for college credit, the students MUST submit their application to JMU by the add deadline. Professional & Continuing Education will enroll students in their class for college credit. They DO NOT need to enroll in this class through MyMadison. As soon as they are enrolled, they will be sent a confirmation to the email address that they listed on their application.
